Thanksgiving Turkey Brine

Your Thanksgiving guests will think you’ve turned into a gourmet chef with this super tasty turkey brine. Don’t worry we won’t tell them its so easy 😉 . Try it with Impact’s Utah Mineral Sea Salt! You can get it at

Recipe: (enough for 10-18 lb turkey)
1 gallon vegetable broth
1 cup Impact Utah Mineral Sea Salt (Fine)
1 tbsp dried rosemary
1 tbsp dried sage
1 tbsp dried thyme
1 tbsp dried savory
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 gallon ice water

1. Combine vegetable broth, Impact Utah Mineral Sea Salt, and all the spices in a large stock pot. Bring to a boil until salt is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
2. Once mixture is cooled, pour into a 5 gallon bucket. Stir in the ice water.
3. Rinse and dry your turkey and make sure the innards have been removed. Place the turkey in the brine mixture. Place in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
4. Remove the turkey from the brine and cook as desired (We smoked ours 🤤) making sure to watch the temperature gauge. Discard excess brine.
